EO Employee Relations’ Role
Support for Supervisors
- Assists in evaluating performance concerns and gathering necessary documentation.
- Guides supervisors in planning meetings with employees, including who should attend and what should be discussed.
- Ensures compliance with University policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements for represented employees.
Support for Employees
- Employee Relations may attend meetings to clarify expectations and ensure a fair discussion.
- Provides guidance to employees about next steps, standards, and available resources.
Resource Access
- Connects supervisors and employees with relevant University policies, forms, and support services.
- Offer consultation for follow-up questions or guidance on corrective actions if needed.
